ProfessionalOxygenOffice Professional is a free and open source enhancement of official OpenOffice.org. The OxygenOffice Professional Team has modified the source of OpenOffice.org and bundled lot of extras with it.

More than 3,400 graphics are included, both clip art and photos. These pictures are integrated into the gallery and can easily be placed into any OxygenOffice document. Several templates and sample documents are included, as well as over 90 fonts. The extras are integrated by default in the installation of OxygenOffice Professional, but they are optional, so the user can decide what parts to include and what parts to leave out. These extra templates, fonts, and graphics are free for both personal and professional use.

Additional tools like OOoWikipedia, which can search the free on-line encyclopedia Wikipedia, are also included. An enhanced help menu, additional User's Manual, and the enabled extended tips are great to help beginners get started using OxygenOffice Professional. Moreover you can use more predefined gradients, colors and other useful element.

The current version is able to run VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) from Excel documents in Calc (under development) and also you can import Office Open XML (Microsoft Office 2007), Works, WordPerfect files and T602 documents also you can import WordPerfect Graphics graphical files too.

OxygenOffice Professional is based on OpenOffice.org 3.0. Bộ OxygenOffice Professional (trước kia gọi là OpenOffice Premium) là một phiên bản tăng cường (enhanced) của OpenOffice. Các phần tăng cường gồm:

1- Hơn 3.400 ảnh chụp và hình vẽ tổ chức thành gallery, dễ dàng chọn và chèn vào các file OxygenOffice.

2- Một số bản mẫu (template) và hồ sơ mẫu (sample document).

3- Trên 90 font.

4- OOoWikipedia : một công cụ search Wikipedia từ trong OxygenOffice.

5- Phần trợ giúp tăng cường: menu help nhiều hơn, sổ tay sử dụng (Use’s Manual), các thủ thuật sử dụng (tip) nhiều hơn OpenOffice.

6- Có thêm các gradient, màu và các phần tử trang trí có ích khác

7- Có thể chạy các macro VBA của Excel trong OxygenOffice Calc. Tính năng này (đang phát triển,chưa xong) rất có ích cho việc chuyển đổi từ Excel sang Calc.

8- Có thể mở các file của Microsoft Office 2007 (theo định dạng Open XML: docx, …), Works, WordPerfect.
